Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.

They said to each other, “Didn’t our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us?”

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.

For by You I can run through a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.

So God replied, “Because you have asked for wisdom in governing my people with justice… I will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have!”

Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.”

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Such is the reliance and confidence that we have through Christ toward and with reference to God. Not that we are fit...to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God.

My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.

But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are down trodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity].

For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.

For every child of God defeats This evil world, and we achieve this victory that has through our faith.

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.
