It's easy to believe in things we can see and touch with our senses, but that's not what real faith is.
Faith is believing in something as though it were sitting right in front of you. It means believing for something even though your senses and maybe even the world around you tells you not to. It's choosing to believe in a promise God has given you... before it comes to pass in your life.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)
We can take a look at Abraham and his life as a perfect example of holding onto faith. God promised him and his wife Sarah not just one child, but descendants that would outnumber the grains of sand on Earth and stars in the sky! And all he had was that promise.
Abraham didn't know HOW God was going to do it. In his mind he and his wife were far too old to have children.
He also didn't know WHEN it would happen. He had to wait many years for this promise to come to pass.
And he didn't even fully know WHY God had promised it. He wasn't given all the details of the impact he and his descendants would make on the world.
All he had was a promise—and he held tight to it!
Right now you might be holding onto a promise from God for your life. You might not know how it could ever happen, when it will happen or even why that promise is important for you to walk out.
When doubt began to creep into Abraham's heart, he turned back to God's words, that his descendants would be more than the grains of sand on Earth and stars in the sky. When doubt creeps into your heart, turn to God's Word. Drown out the fear with words like, "Even when I can't see answers yet, I choose to walk in faith and believe that God's Word is the evidence of what's mine in Christ."
Shoot for the moon, because whatever you're planning, God is thinking higher. Take action and say, "When I declare God's Word in faith and don't let doubt take root in my heart, mountains move aside! I receive in faith everything God has promised me." He wants to bless you greater than you could ever think, dream or imagine!

Devotional time is a habit to be built—and it's a time to prepare your heart for what lies ahead.
When you sit down to connect with God, you won't have a big "revelation moment" every single time. You might even get frustrated when you don't feel like your life has been changed by every verse you read. Often, the time you spend in God's Word is about getting to know who God is, how He communicates with you specifically and learning to trust His leading.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105 (ESV)
When we compare our time spent doing devotions to this verse, it brings a whole new perspective. God's Word is a lamp and light to guide you through everyday life. Not only that, it's a resource to equip you for what lies ahead.
If you decided to go for a hike in the summertime and decided to wear a warm coat and leave your water bottle at home, you wouldn't have a very fun (or safe) hike ahead of you. You need to prepare for the weather, the terrain and any challenges that might occur. And the same goes for our journey through this life.
We need to prepare for all that is coming in our future—and we don't have to prepare blindly for circumstances we can't see coming. Getting to know God through His Word will help you see where He's leading you, which areas to invest more time in and what beliefs to cultivate.
Think of it this way. If you want to be a professional gymnast or sports player, you'll need to prepare with a passion for that sport, the drive to practice and the endurance to keep going even when things get hard.
And if you have dreams for what you want your marriage and family to look like, you'll also need to prepare for that. You'll need to do the heart work and build the character you want to have as a spouse, parent, sibling or grandparent.
God's Word is the most solid foundation for everything you could ever do in your life. It's what keeps you steady, strong and grounded even when things around you are chaotic. Even when lies are pushing at you, the truth of God's Word will rise up at the perfect moments if you have it planted in your heart.
When you speak the Word over your life, you'll begin to settle your heart in hope and security. Declare verses like Isaiah 40:31 (NLT) and say, "With God's Word as my firm foundation, I find new strength each day. I reach new heights, run with endurance and walk through life with courage and peace."
If you struggle to get into God's Word on a regular basis, start with something bite-sized. You can focus on 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NLT) and start to declare, "I use God's Word as my guidepost for what is right and wrong. During my quiet time in the Word, it teaches and equips me to make the right choices." Declare that His Word is at work in your life!
Building a healthy relationship with God is so important and impacts every area of your life. We want to help you dig deeper into His Word by giving you this month's Walk in the Word collection. It's a printable PDF of eight Scripture declarations—and this month it's all about equipping your heart by getting into God's Word.

It's not enough to just make goals for yourself. There is so much more work that needs to be put in if you want to have a chance of accomplishing those goals. And step one is establishing why those goals are important to you.
Most businesses or organizations have something called a mission statement or values list. This is a specific list of things the company has created to let the world know what they stand for, what they aim to accomplish and how they plan on doing it. Did you know you can do that same thing for yourself personally—or even your family?
To sit down and really think about what YOU stand for, what YOU aim to accomplish in life and how YOU plan on doing it is so important. When you know what you're working toward and have passion deep in your heart, you won't be fazed by obstacles, distractions or struggles. They'll just be hurdles that you easily clear on your way to the finish line.
And what adds even more power? When your foundational goals line up with what God says about you and what He wants for you. Because through His strength, you can do ANYTHING.
So if you're single, take a few hours to list your values and beliefs and create a mission statement to live by. It will help you feel confident and purposeful in your day-to-day life.
If you're married, sit down with your spouse and do the same. Share what you as an individual want for yourself in life AND begin to dream about the impact you could make as a couple.
And if you have kids, call a family meeting! There is strength in numbers, and as a family you can be such a moving force for God's Kingdom. Learn the strengths and values that each of your children holds dear, and learn to combine them to create something beautiful that will last for generations.
Once a foundation has been established, you're ready to start goal setting!
When it comes to setting goals, start small—VERY small. Sometimes setting ridiculously small goals can work to your advantage in the long run. When you accomplish those little goals easily you gain confidence and momentum until one day... you've arrived at the BIG goal you set for yourself!
As you work towards those goals slowly, declare, "I pursue my dreams and work at them boldly with strength and courage—and my efforts will be rewarded."
In anticipation for this coming year, you can declare, "God's plans for me and my family this year are greater than I could ever think, dream or imagine!"
Right now, we all stand at the beginning of what COULD be...
What could be your greatest year yet...
Your most challenging year yet...
Or the year with the most growth you've seen in your life so far.
Challenges will come and opportunities for growth WILL present themselves. Make sure you're ready make the best of them!
As your Miracle Channel Family, we want to help as much as we can in your goal-setting process. One small way we want to help in that is by sharing our Walk in the Word resource with you. This is a printable PDF of eight declarations on a specific topic, and this month it's about goal setting.

The future can be a frightening thing to think about. All of the unknowns and "what if" scenarios can invite worry and anxiety into your heart.
And when worry takes over, it puts a filter of dread over everything in your life, especially your picture of the future.
Yes, what lies ahead is definitely a mystery—BUT it doesn't have to be a complete mystery. We can get a sense of what our future holds by looking to the One who created it.
When you have a clear picture of God's heart, character and nature, you'll also have a pretty good idea of what He wants for you. And guess what? It doesn't include pain, sorrow or loss.
If God's character is love, His love will be there for you in every season.
If His character is peace, He will never run out of peace to pour over your life.
And if His character is joy, He will orchestrate things in your life that bring you joy.
If the Creator of the world says you have a bright future and you can do all things through His tremendous power—that's a promise you can put your hope in! We serve a loving God who wants to see you succeed and grow into the person you were created to be.
If you need a reminder of what God has promised you, declare this today: "God is not finished with me yet. The work He has started in me will be completed!"
God has greater things ahead of you! Be inspired today to begin pursuing the things you've been too afraid to hope for. Partner with God and work toward the dreams He has placed in you. Start a new project, learn a new skill or even restore that relationship that needs mending. Don't wait for the new year for a "fresh start." End THIS year strong!
As 2022 comes to a close, hold on to this truth: "God's plans for me and my future are overflowing with goodness and flooded with hope!" You can start working towards the life you've always wanted right now.
AND if you need some extra encouragement, we've got the perfect resource for you! Our Walk in the Word PDF is a page of declarations straight from the Word to help keep you encouraged. This month you can download this page filled with declarations to keep you motivated to end this year strong.

It hurts when the people you choose to have in your life don't choose you back.
When your relationships feel unstable, uncomfortable or unsafe, it affects every area of your life. Navigating through unforgiveness... avoiding bitterness... or healing after betrayal can leave you with a lot of pain to deal with.
Whatever you've been through shapes the way you see your past, current and future relationships. You'll remember how you've been hurt before, will struggle to trust any new people coming into your life and may not even believe you deserve healthy, strong relationships in your future. You might even find yourself in a place where you have one foot in and one foot out of every relationship.
Restoring your faith in people and healing from broken relationships isn't easy, but with God's help it is possible!
God created us for relationships so we wouldn't have to stand alone. And although He created us to enjoy family and friendships, the most important relationship is the one between Him and us. When God is kept at the centre of our relationships, they will continually grow and thrive!
When you know who you are and get your self-worth from God, it won't matter how others treat you in this world. Yes, betrayal, hurt and loss will happen—but you can always run to God for comfort, strength and guidance to move forward. He's the only one who will never hurt us or leave us, because love, mercy and grace are part of His character.
When we're secure in our relationship with God, we can then begin to tackle our relationships here on Earth. You can take your healthy relationships to a whole new level, mend relationships that need attention AND learn to let go of relationships that are no longer healthy.
As you learn the kind of love God has for you, you'll be able to extend that love to everyone around you. Always keep a spirit of prayer towards the relationships in your life and partner with God to keep them strong and lasting!
While praying over your relationships this month, you can declare, "I love others the way God loves me: unconditionally, patiently and without judgment."
And if you have a relationship that needs mending, while you work to fix things, declare each day, "I don't seek revenge against those who have hurt me. Instead, I show them kindness and help them when they are in need."
For more declarations like this, we've created a resource called Walk in the Word. This resource is a printable PDF of eight declarations from the Word on a specific topic. This month, it's all about restoring your relationships.

If you're a believer, you've probably heard the saying "give it all to God" about a hundred times. It's a piece of advice I that is given SO often, but how many of us actually learn to give it ALL to Him? Because when you really think about it, giving up control of EVERYTHING in your life is not an easy thing to do. It takes tremendous faith to put your life, past and future, FULLY into God's hands.
And even when we say that we've "given it all to God", oftentimes there are still things we're holding onto for "safe" keeping. Things we still want control over and want to figure out on our own. We might hold onto these things because we truly think we can handle them on our own OR we don't think God really cares about it, so we keep it to ourselves.
Finances is one of those areas you might find yourself holding tight to, instead of letting God take the reins.
When in reality, the SAFEST place for our finances is with God. Allowing Him to guide you in your decisions about money, trusting Him to supply you with all you need and thanking Him for what He has provided already will bring you amazing freedom in the area of finances.
If you're feeling anxiety over finding your main source of income, searching for a new home you can afford or relieving the pressure from debt, remember, pray specific prayers!
If you're believing for a career change or a new job right now, don't just pray for a job in the field you want. Pray about the location, pay, coworkers, environment and challenges you want. God cares about every detail!
If you're believing for a new home (or even your first home)—be specific! Think of where you want to live, what kind of kitchen you want, and what schools are nearby for your kids. You're going to spend A LOT of your time there, so make it a place you enjoy.
And, if you're believing to get out of debt that's weighing you down, invite God into that process with you. Lean into His guidance to lead you to a place where you can feel secure in your finances again.
God cares so deeply about every aspect of your life, especially your financial stability and freedom. God created you! He knows what you want, what you need and what will help you thrive. He knows you SO well that even when you pray for every last detail, you might find He checks boxes you didn't even think of!
When you get to a place where you can fully trust Him you'll not only feel freedom financially—but you'll have the capacity to bless others with that freedom!
To help you ease into handing things over to God we've created a resource just for YOU! Our Walk in the Word resource is a downloadable PDF of 8 declarations on a specific topic. This month is all about finances. We want to see you thriving and prospering in every area of life in the next year.

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly. - Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)
Have you ever found yourself in a place where you constantly expect disappointment?
Maybe you've had a chronic illness or lived with pain for years and each day you wake up limitations are your normal.
Disappointment ALWAYS drags you down. When you find yourself facing disappointment after disappointment, it's a hard loop to find yourself in—and an even harder one to get out of.
It's time to break out of that vicious cycle.
Regardless of what disappointments you're facing, hold on to this truth: God has your back and will work all things out for your good.
As Matthew 11:28-30 says, we can live in the "unforced rhythms of grace" and "learn to live freely and lightly". We CAN let go of the many disappointments in our past and look to our future with hope! Speaking hope-filled prayers over your life will help you heal and bring transformation.
When you choose a verse like Romans 15:4 and declare, "I diligently pray and speak the promises of God over my life. My heart overflows with the hope and confidence for what God has in store for me," you'll begin to shift your focus to hope and freedom.
We want your prayers to be filled with hope for the future. Our Walk in the Word resource is a printable PDF with 8 declarations from God's Word. You can print out this page and put it us anywhere in your home to remind you to expect great things!

We all have someone we think of when the topic of salvation comes up.
There may be happy thoughts of those you've led in the salvation prayer or helped get a little bit closer to a relationship with Jesus. But you'll also think of those in your life who haven't made that decision, and seem very far away from it too. A brother, sister, mother, father or friend who hasn't yet chosen Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
Maybe there was a time when the great Commission truly was your greatest mission. You'd tell anyone and everyone who'd listen about the hope you found in Jesus.
Somewhere along the line that passion faded, and you might've slipped into the mundane role of having faith in God but not sharing it. Or maybe you began relying on church pastors to lead people to Jesus rather than doing what you can to reach the people around you. It's a pitfall so many fall into—thinking they aren't cool enough, relevant enough or weren't given the right personality to reach others for Jesus.
The beauty of the Great Commission is this: the fact that we're all different is our advantage. There are people in your life right now that your pastor or leader in your church will never have a chance to reach—but you will! There are people you have a relationship with and those who trust and respect you who may be at a place where they need to hear exactly what YOU have to share.
Take heart, be encouraged and rediscover the joy of your salvation. Then you can share that joy with others.
It's important to keep how vital salvation is at the forefront of your mind. Each and every day there are opportunities for you to reach others for God, you just need to be open to them. Pray for God to show you how you can impact others in a unique way and then... take action!
Each morning, declare "I share with my friends and family the most important truth—Jesus died for them, was raised to life and forgives them of their sins and mistakes."
Or, end your day by declaring, "I pray for the wisdom and insight only God can provide. I believe He will open the hearts of my loved ones so they are ready to receive the light of life He has for them."
Start and end your day on the fact that God sent His Son Jesus not just for you, but for ALL the lost. Reignite your desire to see others invite Jesus into their lives.
If you'd like even more declarations to help you get your mind set on eternity each day, download our printable PDF Walk in the Word. Print out a copy of these 8 declarations straight from the Word and put them up wherever you need them as a reminder in your home, car or workspace.

Lately, it may feel like tragedy, heartbreak and loneliness are the main themes of life.
It's fair to say that life isn't easy, especially life as we've known it over the last few years. No matter who you are, or where you're from—we've all been affected. And right now, it may feel impossible to get back to who you once were or to find hope for the future. You may even find yourself in a place where you're questioning your faith!
Not only can we trust in God's Word to show us that there is always hope for the future—but hindsight gives us the ability to see that hope was present all along.
When your faith is being questioned, tested, or stretched, it can make you feel like it wasn't as strong as you thought it was. But it can also be an opportunity for you to grow closer to God, solidify what you stand for and discover wrong beliefs that may be hiding under the surface.
No matter what happens in the world, our country, or our personal lives... we can live in peace knowing that God will ALWAYS prevail in the end. When we feel powerless at the hands of leaders here on earth, we MUST keep fighting for what is right and understand who our one and only King is!
So how do we stay filled with hope no matter what our world looks like?
A great start is by waking up each morning and declaring "My family and I praise our God alone. He watches over us and rules over this nation."
Speaking the Word of God over Canada is so important, especially in times like these. Set your prayers on hope for this nation each day and declare "Our nation will not fall at the hands of unwise leaders, but instead will find victory as God-appointed leaders rise up and take their place."
If you'd like more declarations to speak over the nation of Canada, we've got a great resource available! Our Walk in the Word PDF is a printable list of 8 declarations you can speak over your family, home and nation. Print it out and place it anywhere in your home, vehicle or work space as a reminder throughout your day.

Have you ever had a moment in your life where you felt such unexplainable peace... that it made you worry a little bit? In that moment you thought, "Why am I not freaking out?" or "How am feeling so calm right now?"
It may have been at a time when chaos was erupting around you.
Or a time when it seemed like your life and family were falling apart.
Or even a time when the aftermath of tragedy was crushing you.
But even then, underneath all that noise, your heart was still radiating peace to your whole body.
How is that possible?
Although it can show up in many different ways in our lives, this is a sure sign of God's peace working in your life. The moments when His peace floods in can stay with you for years—becoming a defining moment of trust and faith built between you and God.
Yet maybe you're going through one of those hard situations right now, and you feel anything but peaceful. If fear and anxiety are pushing in on every side, how do you rise above?
Pain and struggle will always be a part of this fallen world, it's true. But peace isn't pretending the hard times won't happen—it's believing that God is bigger than the hard times. We aren't promised all pain will be taken away when we choose God, but we are promised tools to equip us to face and overcome that pain.
When your heart is planted in God's Word and you understand that He is ALWAYS with you, there is a calm that comes over every part of your being. With a heart set in peace, a mind at ease and soul filled with the love of God, you can overcome all things!
No matter how much is pushing at you, how big today's decisions are or how much is at stake, you can rest in the unshakeable hope God provides.
Take time today to sit in His presence, read through Philippians 4:6-7 and declare, "Worry does not get the better of me. I turn to God in everything, telling Him my needs and thanking Him for all that He has given me. His peace washes over me and guards my heart and mind always."
Or jump over to Matthew 11:28-30 and declare, "My spirit, soul and body find real rest in Jesus. He takes the burdens I carry and replaces them with His peace. He teaches me to be humble, gentle and peaceful at heart."
To help you root yourself in the kind of peace God offers, we've created a resource called Walk in the Word. It's a PDF of eight declarations just like the ones above, straight from God's Word.
Download this printable PDF today and place it anywhere in your home, car or work station as a reminder of the unexplainable peace you have access to. Peace is yours in any situation!

Is healing a hard topic for you to talk about?
How you grew up, the church you went to and the life experiences you've had all impact your view on healing. When you or someone you love doesn't receive healing after hundreds of prayers and tears, it can leave you feeling like God doesn't care. You may have even found yourself saying, "If God loved me, why wouldn't He show me mercy and bring me the healing I need?"
The truth is, God does care.
God cares so deeply for you. He loves you and would never bring sickness or pain into your life. In fact, as a believer, He's not withholding any blessing from you. So it isn't about the quantity of desperate prayers and tears you bring to Him, but the quality of beliefs you have in your heart.
God wants to bring healing to every area of your life—to restore even the things that you have given up on. If God is hopeful for your future and sees you healed, you can see yourself the same way! Building that hope and faith into your situation takes time. It takes diving into God's Word and getting it deep in your heart. Once it's planted on the inside, it will begin to manifest on the outside.
If you're believing for healing, begin to speak this over your life: "The life-giving Spirit of God lives in me. He heals my physical body from the inside out."
Whatever it may be, speak this over your situation each day: "I have access to the power of God. I am an overcomer and speak the Word over any attacks of the enemy." Begin to focus your thoughts on the God who loves you and who gave you the power to overcome!
Walk in the Word is a special resource we have created for just that purpose—to get your heart set in the Word and what God says about you. With this printable PDF, you can have eight declarations straight from God's promises in every room of your house! Keep a copy in your car, in your purse or on your mirror and declare your healing wherever you are! To download this month's Walk in the Word PDF, click here.

Do you remember those times as a child when you would fall asleep on the couch, or somewhere other than your bed? Maybe your parents would carry you back to your bed or maybe they'd cover you with a blanket right where you were. You'd wake up warm and comfortable instead of cold and stiff. That small act of kindness made you feel safe and protected. Like someone was watching over you.
You can have that feeling every single day in your relationship with God. You can always feel loved, protected and that God is looking out for you and has your best interest at heart.
As a child, maybe the love and protection your parents provided was based on whether you had a tantrum that day or whether you were a perfect angel all week. But God's love is never like that! His love for you isn't based on how much you let road rage get the better of you last week or the fact that you spend genuine time in prayer with God every day. It's based on what Jesus did for you on the cross. Through the lens of Jesus, God sees you as whole and forgiven—as a part of His family.
If you're looking for someone to depend on to cheer with you in your victories (Numbers 6:24-26) and pick up the pieces in your failings, look no further than the One who created you and has your best interest at heart!
So, how do you feel God's love and protection on your life? By reading and declaring His promises of protection. Turn to Proverbs 18:10 and declare daily, "I run to God in every situation, He provides a safe refuge for me."
To help you live in the shelter that God provides we've created a downloadable PDF called Walk in the Word. Every month, we offer this PDF with eight declarations based on Scripture. You can download it, print it and put it somewhere you'll see it often. Whether it's on your desk, nightstand, bathroom mirror it will remind you to declare the Word!

When you're driving a car down the highway, there's no question about who chooses the direction you go. After all, you're in the driver's seat and the steering wheel is in your hands.
But when it comes to your life, it's not always so clearcut. Some things are outside of your control. You didn't get to choose how you were raised or the genes you were born with, for instance. Outside circumstances like the economy or other people's choices can all send you in directions you don't want to go.
Yet each of us is still in the driver's seat of our own lives. And your steering wheel is your words.
With your words, you can set a direction of discouragement and defeat... or courage and victory. You can steer toward doubt or aim for faith. The choice is yours.
If we take that metaphor even further, think about driving in a rainstorm or blizzard. A storm can definitely make it harder to stay on the road, but it doesn't take you out of the driver's seat and lock you in the trunk. So even in the midst of a difficult situation, you STILL have the power to declare words of faith and hope.
What are you speaking on a regular basis? Do you like the picture those words are painting? If not, the best way to steer in a better direction is to use God's Word as a roadmap. As you speak His promises out loud and declare them as your own, it starts to fill you with hope.
You could take Psalm 119:171 (TPT) and declare, "God's Word is my song of worship and declaration of faith. As I praise God, His strength and favour fills my life."
Or you could use 1 Peter 3:10 (NLT), declaring, "I keep my words away from lies and unbelief. As I speak words of hope and faith instead, I'm building an amazing future."
To give you some more verses to declare, we created a special resource for you called Walk in the Word. Every month, we offer a PDF with eight declarations based on Scripture. You can download it, print it and put it somewhere you'll see it often. Your desk, nightstand, bathroom mirror—wherever it will remind you to declare the Word!

Do you ever catch yourself saying something negative and wonder, "Where on earth did that come from?" You could be actively building faith in an area—like healing, favour at work or peace in your relationships—when all of a sudden, words come out of your mouth that go against everything you've been praying for.
The thing is, your heart is listening to the words you speak. What you consistently say... you begin to believe. So mixing words of unbelief, doubt and pessimism with words of faith is like trying to construct a house, but yanking out half the nails you hammered in. It's taking two steps forward, one step back.
But this isn't something to beat yourself up over. We all have old misbeliefs that rise to the surface from time to time. And no matter how long you've been a believer, we're all exposed to negativity as we go about life—the same way your shoes pick up dirt and gravel as you walk around outside. So watching our words is something all of us need to do every day.
How do you do that?
Whenever you catch yourself saying words of unbelief, pause and replace them with God's Word. Pick verses about who you are in Christ and what He's promised you—and declare them with gusto! It may feel strange at first, but the more you do it, the more your heart will sit up and listen.
When you're going through something difficult and it's hard to see how your situation could turn around, take Philippians 1:20 and say, "No matter what, I continue to hold onto Jesus. I know His love and goodness will be revealed to others through my situation."
When the future is uncertain, declare Psalm 62:5-6 and say, "God is my safe place and defender. His presence wraps around me like a shield. There's no risk of failure with Him—so even in times of trouble, I don't let worry paralyze me. My God will not fail me!"
As you train your tongue, you'll grow better at nipping any negative words in the bud. Instead of undoing the "heart work" you've already done, you'll be reinforcing your faith.
To give you a starting point, we created a special resource for you called Walk in the Word. Every month, we offer a PDF with eight declarations based on Scripture. You can download it, print it and hang it on your fridge or bathroom mirror. This way, you'll be reminded daily to declare the Word.

New year, new you! You hear the same cliché motivational phrases every January. But when it feels like you've been stuck in the SAME spot year after year, it's easy to start thinking, "Why would this year be any different?"
Maybe you've been trying to change a habit, and every so-called fix doesn't work.
Maybe you've been struggling to get out of debt, but the going is slow.
Or maybe you wish your relationships would reach a new level of closeness—but the same conflicts keep cycling back around.
If that's you and you've been losing hope, you need to know it's not over. God isn't done with you. In fact, He wants to give you a new beginning... and more blessings than you can imagine!
So how do you get there? You've tried gritting your teeth and working up a change with sheer willpower before. But that never lasts long. What if instead, you let GOD create that new beginning in you?
The best place to start is by getting into God's Word. And before you check out and click away—we're not talking about sitting through a boring study session. Studying the Word is a good thing, of course, but you need to get your heart and imagination involved. When you do, time in the Word becomes exciting. You start to unearth God's promises and personalize them as your own. Pretty soon, they come alive in your heart... and in your life.
For instance, you could personalize Jeremiah 29:11 and say, "I'm confident that God has good plans for me. He is leading me into a hopeful future—a life full of His peace and blessings!"
Or looking at Philippians 3:13-14, you can declare, "I put the past behind me and focus on what lies ahead. I'm pressing on to the goal God is calling me toward."
As you declare these verses and imagine them as your reality, you start to move in that direction. And that's a recipe for powerful change.
To help you get a head-start for the new year, we prepared a special resource for you called Walk in the Word. Every month, we offer a PDF with eight declarations based on Scripture. Then you can download it, print it and put in your Bible or on your fridge. That way, you'll be reminded to speak God's promises of life and hope.

Change can take time. But as the Word gets into your heart and changes you from the inside out... it can ripple outward and affect the situations and people around you in amazing ways.

All change starts with a dream.
Take Joshua from the Bible, for example. He had a dream for his people—that they'd live in a land of prosperity and success. Because he had a vision, the Israelites settled in the Promised Land.
Or what about Esther? She dreamed that her people could live in peace with everyone. It gave her the strength to go before the king... and she changed the fate of the Israelites.
You could also look at Paul. After he met Jesus, Paul developed a burning passion for sharing the truth about Jesus with others. His dream led him all over the map as he spread the Gospel.
What do these stories go to show? That when you have a dream for the future, you'll tend to it and water it. Then you begin to change your life and the lives of others—AND you can also change a country.
Canada needs positive change more than ever before. We need to rise up and light the way to Jesus!
Now, maybe you compare yourself to the likes of Joshua, Esther and Paul, and you think, "Forget it. I'm not like them. It's hard enough to make a difference in my own neighbourhood, never mind my country!"
But God has given you the ability and strength you need. He cares about Canada even more than you do. And His desire is for leaders to make wise choices and people to live in peace with each other. Most of all, He wants more men and women across this country to follow Jesus.
Now, no one can snap their fingers and see ALL these things happen in an instant. But change does start with you.
So how do you start? By adopting God's vision for our nation. You can be His hands and feet—reaching the lost for Him and showing them God's love and acceptance. And one of the easiest ways to start moving in that direction... is to speak life over Canada with promises from God's Word.
You might read Psalm 72:1-2 and say, "I declare that my country has leaders that are fair and just. They care for people and model themselves after Jesus' leadership."
Or you could declare, "The will of God isn't dependent on which political party is in authority. I declare that this nation will mirror God's Kingdom in every way, in Jesus' name" (Matthew 6:10).
Your words are powerful. They can make things like your relationships, health and job better OR worse. That's why God wants you to speak life over your country—so you can see positive change take place!
To help you start this process, we've prepared a special resource for you called Walk in the Word. Every month, we offer a PDF with eight declarations based on Scripture. Then you can download it, print it and put it in your Bible. That way, you'll be reminded to speak God's promises.

Change never happens overnight, just like a plant doesn't grow in an instant. Give it time, and don't give up hope. When we declare God's promises, we WILL see Canada change—for the better!

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own lives that we forget the people around us are dealing with their own dreams and struggles.
The guy filling your car at the gas station? Maybe he dreams of becoming a doctor and saving lives… but he can’t afford to pay for school, so he’s stuck at a job he doesn’t love.
What about the clerk at the clothing store? Maybe she dreamed of marrying a man who’d love and care for her… but she’s now a single mom of two, struggling to make ends meet.
Then there’s that elderly lady you always see sitting in the park by herself. Maybe she dreamed of watching her family grow… but now her kids and grandchildren have all moved away, and she feels alone.
Now let’s bring it closer to home. Think about your friends and family—the things they’re facing, the dreams they have and the hope they’re looking for.
Think about the people you know who haven’t found the truth about Jesus yet.
God has only the BEST in mind for your loved ones. If they’re not experiencing it… they need to start believing it. And you have a part to play! You can stand in the gap for them and start speaking God’s favour over their lives.
For example, let’s say you have a friend who doesn’t know Jesus. You could read Ezekiel 11:19-20 and say, “The hearts of my unsaved loved ones are open to hear about Jesus. They respond and accept Him into their lives.”
Or maybe one of your relatives is dealing with sickness. Take Psalm 91:10-11 and declare, “Angels are protecting my loved ones around the clock, 24/7. Nothing harmful can touch them, and no sickness can enter their home.”
One of your kids might be feeling stressed about what’s going on in the world today. You can say, “My loved ones are filled with God’s perfect peace. This peace is beyond all understanding, and it guards their hearts and minds every day” (Philippians 4:7).
Speaking God’s Word out loud not only changes your beliefs… but it also impacts others. That’s how powerful it is!
To give you a starting point, we put together a special PDF every month with Bible-based declarations for you. Click here to download this month’s Walk in the Word collection: “Declare God’s Favour Over Your Loved Ones.” Then print it and get into the habit of speaking the declarations every day.
Your words can bring positive change into the lives of others. Begin declaring God’s favour over your friends and family—and watch what happens!
P.S. If you’d like to get one of these collections every month, you can sign up for our emails. At the beginning of each month, we’ll send you great resources to build your faith, including Walk in the Word.
You ever notice how kids like to dream big and wild? Maybe you did too when you were younger. You dreamed of being a superhero… or owning a mansion… or going on the best vacation EVER.
Then you got a little older. Your dreams became a little less out-there. You thought of dating the perfect person… or travelling to another country… or finding a job that uses your gifts.
Fast forward to now. Finances might be tight—you can’t remember the last time you took a decent vacation. Your home was affordable, but you feel embarrassed to host any get-togethers. You work a dead-end job that makes you feel like an office monkey.
Maybe… you’ve stopped dreaming.
But! That’s not God’s best for your life. He wants you to be full of vim and vigour—passionate about life! He created good things in life for you to enjoy. From nature and animals… to gifts and family… He made it all for YOU.
He doesn’t want you to barely scrape by. He doesn’t want you to put up with aches, pains and sickness. He doesn’t want your relationships to be disappointing. What He DOES want is the best that life has to offer. But to do that…. you need to change how you see yourself and your life.
A great way to change those thoughts is by replacing them with God’s Word. You could read John 10:10 and say, “Jesus came so I could enjoy life to the fullest and experience His overflowing blessings.”
Or you could declare, “The future fills me with hope because I know God has my best interests in mind. My confidence in Him is unshakeable” (Romans 15:13).
When you do this, not only are you weeding out negative thoughts and beliefs that hold you back. You’re also planting new seeds of positivity! And the more you speak over yourself… the more you water and look after these new beliefs!
We want to help you get started! Every month, we put together a list of eight declarations based on Scripture. Click here to download the Walk in the Word collection for this month. Print it and put it somewhere around your house you’ll see it often. It’ll remind you to speak in faith over your life and future.
It’s not too late to make this change. The best is yet to come—God has some INCREDIBLE plans in store for you. You can get excited and passionate about life, no matter how old you are.
It’s time to start dreaming again!

What causes a person to live differently?
There are lots of things that play into that. How someone was raised... the people they spend the most time with... their deepest beliefs. You can see how these factors play out by looking at the fruit in people's lives.
Have you ever noticed what happens when someone lives in a foreign country for a while? When they come back, they'll use expressions and slang that are common in that country. They might have different habits depending on who they hung out with. If they're out there long enough, they might even pick up the accent. In the same way, the more we spend time with Jesus, the more we become like Him.
So how can people tell that you follow Jesus? It's by how you talk to the barista who's stressed by all the impatient customers. It's by how you interact with your family both at home and in public. It's by how you help pay for the single mom's groceries. It's by how you offer cold water to the construction crew working on a hot day.
How you live your life should be evidence of how Jesus has changed you. People need to see it to believe it. You see, people tend to be curious. So when they see that you're different because of Jesus, they might ask why. That gives you a golden opportunity to share the hope you have because of Him.
A great place to start is to get into the Word and speak verses over yourself. You could say, "Just like Jesus, I'm growing in wisdom, stature and favour with God and people" (Luke 2:52).
Or you can read Colossians 4:2 & 5, declaring, "I devote myself to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. I live wisely among those who aren't believers, and I make the most of every opportunity to share Jesus."
Living like Jesus did is nothing to sneeze at. But you're never alone in life. Jesus is walking with you every step of the way—He'll give the confidence you need!
We've got something to help get you started. Every month, we put together a PDF called Walk in the Word, where we give you eight declarations based on Scripture. This time around, the declarations are all about helping you live more like Jesus. Click here to download this month's collection. You could print it and put it in your Bible or on your fridge, so you see it often. Then you can begin to speak these verses out loud and meditate on them.
The more you declare these, the more you'll believe them in your heart. You'll start living differently. Your life will become a mirror that reflects Jesus to everyone around you!
P.S. If you'd like to get these collections each month, you can sign up for our emails. At the beginning of every month, we'll send you great resources that will help you build your faith, including Walk in the Word.
"Actions speak louder than words." You've probably heard the saying. But is it true?
The short answer is YES.
Imagine this scene for a moment. You're getting ready to go on a relaxing vacation for a week. But first, you need to find someone to look after your yard when you're away. So you call up your friend and ask them if they can mow the lawn, water the flowers and pick up your mail.
"Sure thing!" they say. "It's not a problem."
You go on your vacation, not thinking about your yard. Why would you? You trust your friend to keep their word and take care of things.
You come back a week later... but you're SHOCKED by what you find. The lawn is overdue for a haircut. The flowers are dry and wilted. The mailbox is practically overflowing. Nothing you asked to be done actually got done.
Now if you go for a vacation again, you won't ask your friend to look after your yard again. Their words said one thing, but their actions said another... and they were a LOT louder!
The same is true for your relationship with God. It's not enough to talk like Jesus. You need to act like Him too! That can sound like a very tall order. But it isn't impossible.
As always, the best way to show Jesus through your actions is by reading the Word. See, you tend to pick up the habits of the people you hang out with. If you start hanging out with Jesus, you'll also imitate His actions—how He treated people and responded to those in need.Speaking verses out loud can really help make these new habits stick. You could read James 1:22-25 and declare, "I don't just listen to God's Word, I also live it out. When people look at my life, they see Jesus in me."
Or you could take a look at Acts 1:8 and say, "With Holy Spirit's power inside me, I am a witness to Jesus wherever I go."
We've prepared a PDF called Walk in the Word to help you start walking out God's best in your everyday life. This monthly resource has eight declarations based on Scripture that are personalized just for you. Click here to download the collection and start using your words to imitate Jesus!
After you've downloaded the PDF, you can print it and put it somewhere you'll see it often around your house. Whenever you do, you can say the verses out loud and start declaring them over your life.
The more you speak these verses, the deeper they'll be planted in your heart. You'll see amazing things happen in your life as you live like Jesus did! And we know it'll make a BIG difference in the lives of those around you too!
P.S. If you'd like to get one of these collections every month, you can sign up for our emails here. At the beginning of each month, we'll send you great resources to build your faith, including Walk in the Word.
How a person talks says a lot about them. Have you ever noticed that people who talk negatively are often miserable? On the flip side, happy people tend to have a positive outlook on life—and it shows in the words they speak!
But it doesn't stop there. How people talk and what they say affects their relationships with others.
As an example, let's say you're hanging out with your friends. One can't stop complaining about everything in her life. The weather is ALWAYS awful, her husband is never good enough, and she can never go to the grocery store without getting annoyed by something... or someone. I bet you'd be desperately trying to find any reason to leave the conversation, wouldn't you?
Then there's your other friend. She always has something good to talk about. Maybe instead of complaining about all the rain, she'll say how good it is for the farmers' crops. She talks about how much she loves her husband and all he does for her. Even when she goes through hard times, she focuses on God's faithfulness. This is someone you love spending time with!Your words are like a magnet—they can either attract people or push them away. This was true for Jesus. It didn't matter where He walked, all sorts of people followed. They were drawn to Him—not only because of what He said, but also because of how He said it. In the same way, your words can attract people to Jesus too!
It's easier said than done, right? In the heat of the moment, you might slip up. But God can help you make that change... even if it's only a little bit at a time.
A good way to start is by declaring God's Word over yourself. Taking Colossians 4:6, you could say, "I keep my conversations gracious and positive so that I'm prepared to give a respectful answer to anyone who asks about my faith."
Or you could declare, "When conflicts come up, instead of reacting in anger, I'll slow down and offer a gentle response instead" (Proverbs 15:1).Your words carry power. Just like flipping a light switch changes where the power goes, you can also flip the switch on your words to become more positive!
To help start you off, we've prepared a list of eight declarations based on Scripture for you. Click here to download the Walk in the Word collection for this month. Then you can begin to speak these verses over yourself every day.
As you start to speak in faith, you'll see change happen. You'll become more and more like Jesus in every way—including your words!
P.S. If you want to get a collection like this every month, you can sign up for our emails. At the beginning of each month, we'll send you great resources to build your faith, including Walk in the Word.
It's one thing to believe for, say, a financial miracle. After all, you're probably not forced to stare at your bank account all day long. But when it comes to believing for healing, it might seem harder.
Those physical symptoms are in your face constantly. So how do you believe God's promises for health when your body is saying something else—and it's talking loud and clear?
The thing is, you can't necessarily choose what your body is telling you... But you do have a say in the matter when it comes to what your heart says. And when you feed your heart with God's Word day after day, you start to believe in something that goes beyond the physical reality. It doesn't mean you ignore sickness. It just means you choose to put your focus on something else. What does that look like, practically speaking?
You could be driving to a doctor's appointment, but on the way, you're declaring what God's Word says about healing.
You might be taking medication or pursuing other remedies, but as you do, you speak the Word over your body.
When you get up in the morning, maybe the first thing you feel is aches and pains—but you choose to praise God and thank Him for His promises.
Based on Romans 8:11, you can say, "The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me, and He's bringing life to every single cell in my body."
Or declare, "The Lord is my refuge and shelter. No evil will conquer me and no sickness or disease can come near my home" (Psalm 91:9-10).
As you hear yourself speak in faith, something happens to your heart. Your focus changes... and gradually your deepest beliefs are transformed.
If you've been dealing with sickness, a doctor's diagnosis or long-term illness... we'd love to share something with you. It's a set of personalized declarations based on healing verses. Click here to download this month's Walk in the Word collection. Then make it part of your daily routine to speak these verses over your life and meditate on them.
The symptoms in your body present only one side of the evidence. In God's Word we find overwhelming evidence that says something else: Jesus came to bring you abundant life, overflowing with supernatural health. Start declaring it's yours!

When's the last time something you owned broke down? Maybe your furnace or car quit working, or your toaster suddenly went on the fritz.
When that happens, you've only got a few options. Call a repairman or mechanic, try to fix the problem yourself—or if all else fails, buy something new. Pretty straightforward, right?
But... what about when your heart breaks down? That's not so easy.
If you think of heartbreak, maybe the first thing you picture is tears and a pile of tissues. And while that is one kind of heartbreak, the truth is, a broken heart can also be one that isn't functioning the way it's designed to.
Sometimes life deals us some hard knocks, leaving our hearts battered and bruised... disappointed... maybe even bitter. Doubts crowd in, and it becomes hard to hang onto hope.
So what do you do with these breakdowns and letdowns? How do you fix a broken heart? It sure would be nice if you could trade your heart in for a new model as easily as people upgrade their cars.
But there's an even better option. God has the ability to heal broken hearts and make them new. The key is to get God's Word into your heart, where it can start the process. One of the best ways to do that is to declare the Word out loud. There's something powerful about hearing yourself speak words of life and hope!
Reading Psalm 30:11, you can declare, "God has turned my mourning into dancing. He covers me with His joy and strength."
Or take a look at Romans 12:2. Based on this verse, you can say, "I'm transformed from the inside out as Holy Spirit changes how I think and believe. God has a beautiful and satisfying life for me, and He has given me the power to walk it out."
There's no heart too broken for God to mend. He can turn your grief into joy. He transforms anxiety into peace. He takes your loneliness and brings fulfillment. The future He has for you is so good, and He wants to help you rise up and believe it's yours.
To give you a starting point, we've put together eight declarations based on Scripture. Click here to download this month's Walk in the Word collection. Then use these verses to start speaking God's promises over your life.
As you do, hope will awaken in you. Peace will come in. And your heart will be made whole by the God who loves you and wants the very best for you!
P.S. If you'd like to get one of these collections every month, you can sign up for our emails. At the beginning of each month, we'll send you great resources to build your faith, including Walk in the Word.
Relationships can be messy. Ranging from a little, "oops, I spilled the coffee" kind of mess... to the more devastating, "a tornado ripped through this place" kind of mess.
Whether it's with your kids, your spouse or a friend, there's no question that relationships are ripe for all kinds of conflict. Put two imperfect people into a room—each with their own past, ideas and view of the world—and it can be like putting two lit matches next to a can of gasoline.
Boom.
While it takes two to tango (as they say) and create problems... it only takes one to be the bigger person and start the healing process. You can't control how the other person reacts or even whether they say sorry.
But your reactions are up to you. You can be the first to apologize, offer forgiveness or make a move to build strength back into a relationship.
Sounds great and all, but what if you're still steaming mad? Or just plain disappointed? Maybe you feel like you're more likely to bite their head off instead of offering anything that remotely resembles grace.
So... what then?
The good news is, you don't have to fix everything in the relationship by yourself. As a believer, God's power and presence is within you. When you feel nothing but bitterness, you can tap into His grace. When you can't find it within yourself to forgive, you can draw from His strength.
And one of the BEST ways to do that is to meditate on God's Word. It has the power to soften your heart and bring peace when you're upset. As you read the Word, Holy Spirit can give you creative ideas for how to connect to your family better or reach out to a friend who's struggling.
It's amazing what happens when you start to declare the Word out loud and make it personal. You could take James 1:19 and say, "I'm quick to listen to others, slow to speak my opinion and slow to get angry. In every conversation, I seek peace."
Or reading 1 Corinthians 13:7, you might say, "I walk in the love of God—a love that withstands anything and is always ready to believe the best in people. With this love, I can endure the hard times and hang onto hope."
To give you a starting point, we've put together a set of eight declarations based on different verses like the ones above. Click here to download this month's Walk in the Word collection. Then start speaking these declarations over you and your loved ones every day.
As you do... your own heart will begin to change. And at the same time, you're speaking the life of God into your relationships!
P.S. If you'd like to get one of these collections every month, you can sign up for our emails. At the beginning of each month, we'll send you great resources to build your faith, including Walk in the Word.
Everything you do, everywhere you go in life—it all comes down to one seemingly small thing.
What you believe.
Imagine this scenario. You put a cake in the oven but forget to turn on the timer. Then you leave to do something else in another room. Time passes. And then... you smell smoke.
But let's say you were told all your life that you have a terrible sense of smell—to the point that you don't trust your nose anymore. So you shrug it off, thinking the smoke is your imagination.
Next, the smoke alarm goes off. You pause... but you figure the beeping just means you need to change the alarm batteries. You'll do it later when you have time.
The trouble is, the cake is burning! But if you don't believe it, you won't do anything about it. In fact, you might not even realize the problem until your house is burning down around you.
Now, that's a pretty ridiculous scenario. But it paints a picture of the power of our beliefs. It doesn't matter that it's true your house is burning. It's your beliefs, no matter how correct or misguided they may be, that determine your course of action.
What about something a little more realistic? Maybe you struggled in school as a kid. Gradually, you began to believe you weren't that smart. Later in life, a job came along that you were perfectly qualified for, but you didn't apply... because you believed you weren't cut out for it.
Throughout life, we can pick up all kinds of misbeliefs from our upbringing, surroundings or challenges we face. These beliefs take root in our heart and start to determine our future.
Knowing that, how can we reprogram our beliefs? How can we get the TRUTH planted in our hearts so that we start moving in a better direction? A God direction?
Here's a secret. Your heart is listening to the words you speak. So when you start to declare God's Word over your life, guess what happens? You plant amazing, life-giving, confidence-boosting, faith-building beliefs! Over time, they begin to replace your old thinking.
If you're struggling with your past, you might look at 1 Peter 1:23 and say, "I've been born again into a brand new life! This life is sustained by God's Word working within me."
If you're up against difficult circumstances, you can meditate on Psalm 28:7 and say, "The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart trusts in Him, and He helps me. I choose to praise Him today!"
As you declare the Word, you start to believe you can rise up and succeed. You are healed and whole. You are a child of God, chosen and loved. And this new set of beliefs guides you into new opportunities, relationships and blessings!
To help you start this process of faith, we want to share a special resource with you called Walk in the Word. This PDF has eight personalized declarations based on verses in God's Word.
Click here to download this month's Walk in the Word. Then read the declarations, speak them every day—and see your heart beliefs begin to transform. As they do, you'll experience God's promises in greater ways... and walk into an incredible future!
P.S. If you'd like to get one of these collections every month, you can sign up for our emails. At the beginning of each month, we'll send you great resources to build your faith, including Walk in the Word.
Goals that you struggle to reach. Diets that just don't work. Ceilings that you can't seem to break through.
If you've ever been frustrated as a believer by a lack of change in your life—and we've ALL been there—well, you're in for some good news.
Because the key to changing your life is changing your heart beliefs. And there's actually a straight path to your heart. This path... leads straight through your ears.
Hang on, this will all make sense in a minute.
Everything streaming through your ears is depositing a belief in your heart—good or bad. Just think about all the things you hear everyday. People complaining... news anchors reporting gloomy headlines... song lyrics that may or may not be life-giving... That's a lot of opportunities for negative deposits to land in your heart!
Some things we can't help but overhear. But do you really want to accept everything you hear by default?
You can take control of what you listen to and start making positive deposits. How? By speaking God's Word—out loud! Your ears need to hear YOUR voice declaring His promises. Romans 10:17 (NKJV) says, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
As you hear the Word, you deposit life into your heart. You deposit peace, healing, joy and incredible strength. The truth starts to wash away your negative beliefs, replacing them with faith!
So what does it look like to speak and hear God's Word?
You could take Mark 11:23 and say, "I speak to mountains in faith and tell them to move. Every problem or obstacle in my life has to obey the Word of God!"
Or you could go to Isaiah 55:11 and declare, "As I speak God's Word, it doesn't return empty. It accomplishes its purpose and brings incredible blessing—to my life and to those I pray for."
Simply reading God's Word is great. But when you hear it spoken out loud again and again over time—you start to really believe it. Hearing the Word is like an extra-strength dose of faith!
To help you get started, we've made a special PDF for you called Walk in the Word. It's a collection of personalized verses that you can declare every day.
Click here to download this month's Walk in the Word. Then print it out and begin the habit of speaking the Word! As these declarations of faith stream through your ears and into your heart... it's going to bring REAL change to your life.
P.S. If you'd like to get one of these collections every month, you can sign up for our emails. At the beginning of each month, we'll send you great resources to build your faith, including Walk in the Word.
Sure would be nice if life came with a roadmap, eh?
If only you could flip open your Bible and it would say, "On January 13th, 2021, you shall go to 123 Main Street, and there, a person named Jill needs you to pray for her." Or how great would it be if the Word would tell you where to buy a house, which job interview to go for or the name of your future spouse?
It would save you a lot of trouble, wouldn't it?
The thing is, you're not a robot. You have free will and lots of great options in life. And besides, if you knew EVERYTHING God had ahead of you, you might turn tail and run! He knows what information you need... and when you need it.
This is where faith and God's Word come in. Because while the Word might not tell you all the specifics about your destiny, it's full of the principles that'll get you there.
It's got the business principles you need to excel in your workplace.
It's got the relationship principles you need to build a great family and amazing friendships.
It's got the mental health principles you need to keep your mind clear and at peace.
And besides principles for living the best life, it's also full of God's promises too. Promises of health, provision and favour.
But all of these principles and promises can't do a lick of good just sitting in your Bible. Somehow, they need to get from the page to your heart, where you believe them deep down.
And a powerful way to make that happen is by speaking the Word. Out loud. Often.
You see, your heart is paying attention to the words you speak! If you find yourself saying, "I'm so confused. I don't know what to do," your heart is grabbing onto that belief. And it makes it harder to get clarity or direction from God.
But you can flip the switch and start speaking words of faith instead. Romans 10:17 (NKJV) says, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
When you speak the Word, you build up your faith instead of your doubts. You plant God's amazing principles and promises in your heart, and they begin to change your beliefs.
Take John 16:13 (NLT), for instance. You could read it and say, "I listen to Holy Spirit as He guides me into all truth. He knows the future, and He is leading me down the right path." Then start to paint a picture of what it looks like for Holy Spirit to guide you in everything you do. See yourself sensing His guidance at work... being prompted with the right words to say to your child who's struggling... or following His lead and meeting the right people at the right time.
The more you hear the Word, especially from your own mouth, the more you reprogram your heart—your inner GPS. And it's those beliefs programmed in your heart that decide where you go.
To help you start this powerful habit in the new year, we've put together a special PDF called Walk in the Word. It has personalized declarations based on God's Word that you can begin to speak over YOUR life.
Click here to download this month's Walk in the Word. Then print it out and keep it somewhere you'll see it every day. Even better than a New Year's resolution to exercise more, speaking these verses out loud will exercise your faith!
P.S. If you'd like to get one of these collections every month, you can sign up for our emails. At the beginning of each month, we'll send you great resources to build your faith, including Walk in the Word.
Stop us if this sounds familiar. It's your turn to host the Christmas family gathering this year, and you're already:
A) dreading the tension at the dinner table,
B) stressing over the dinner itself because you know your mother-in-law is going to tell you how she would've made every dish,
C) and wondering if you can get away with uninviting that one prickly family member you don't get along with.
There's something about the holidays that highlights family conflict. Whether it's ongoing hostility or old disagreements that resurface, sometimes it seems like it'd be easier to write off Christmas altogether.
After all, you can choose your friends, but you didn't get to choose your family, right?
Although that's true... you don't have to be stuck in the same old strife. And the key to getting unstuck?
Forgiveness.
"But they don't deserve it!" you might say.
That's probably true too. But when you think about it, Jesus made the first move and forgave you—before you ever did anything to deserve it.
Forgiving the person who's hurt you is probably the last thing you'd like to do. And you may not be able to restore them to a place of trust, but you can do the heart work on your end to let go of bitterness.
In God's Word, we find verse after verse talking about how to walk through difficult relationships. When you start to speak these verses out loud and make them personal, it begins to change your perspective.
Looking at Ephesians 4:2-3, you can say, "I exercise patience and self-control, admitting when I'm wrong and bearing with others in unselfish love. I make every effort to walk in peace."
Or take 1 Corinthians 13:7 and declare, "Out of love, I look for the best in everyone and remain steadfast in my relationships, even during difficult times."
You can meditate on Luke 6:27-28, saying, "When people do me wrong, I'll walk in a spirit of love, not vengeance. I will choose to love them, pray for them and bless them."
It's not easy to walk in forgiveness. But when you focus on how Jesus has forgiven you, your heart begins to soften. You find the strength to extend that same forgiveness to others.
To help you speak the Word, click here to download this month's Walk in the Word. It's a PDF with a collection of personal declarations based on verses about—you guessed it—forgiveness.
Then don't let these verses gather dust! Print out the PDF, hang it up somewhere and make a habit of speaking the Word out loud. As you do, ask God for the wisdom you need to walk toward healing in all your relationships.
He has already paved the way by forgiving you first!

Something as insignificant as the common cold can put a damper on your whole day, can't it?
Maybe you had plans to get together with friends or take the family out shopping. When those sniffles show up—and you feel like hauling a trashcan around for all the tissues you're going through—it makes the fun and games a little harder to enjoy.
Never mind if you're facing something a lot more serious than a cold.
Whether you caught a bug or you're facing a tough diagnosis, God declares you're healed.
Yet from where you're standing today, it could be that all the evidence is pointing to the contrary. The symptoms say you're sick. The doctors say you're sick. So what then?
If this is you, it's time to gather evidence from God's Word.
It's not about living in denial of your situation, but about choosing to declare what's more true than your situation: God's promises. Because Jesus qualified you for every single one in the book.
As you go into the Word and discover the verses that say you're healed, healthy and whole—speak them out loud. Romans 4:17 (AMP) says that God "gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist." If He can do that—and if He created the entire universe with the words He spoke—then our own words have power too.
So, what are you speaking? Instead of complaining about what you can't do or focusing on the fear, begin to make a habit of declaring words of faith! Meditate on what God has to say about you. Let His Word go to work on the beliefs of your heart. As you do, Holy Spirit will bring those promises to mind when you need them.
When the future is uncertain, you can say, "I'm not afraid or discouraged, because God personally goes ahead of me. He is with me and will never fail me" (Deuteronomy 31:8).
When you get up in the morning, declare 1 Thessalonians 5:23 and say, "God's salvation gives me everything I need for my whole spirit, soul and body. I am healthy and whole in Jesus' name."
If the symptoms are speaking loud and clear today, stand on Romans 8:11 and say, "The same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in me! He's giving life to every cell in my body."
To help you begin speaking what GOD says about your situation, we've put together a collection of personal declarations called Walk in the Word. Click here to download the PDF.
You can save it on your device or print it out, then use it to kickstart every day with words that give LIFE to your body and mind! Every time you do, you're sowing seeds of faith in your heart.
Curing cancer is no harder for God than curing the common cold. He's already sent out His Word to heal you (Psalm 107:20), and it's Jesus who qualified you to walk in health—so healing is yours RIGHT now in Jesus' name!
P.S. Life sometimes throws us a few curveballs... and not just in the area of health. But for everything you're up against, God has promises you can depend on! He helps you bat those curveballs right outta the park.

Some days, you feel just as mashed as the potatoes you're preparing for Thanksgiving dinner.
Between looking after the kids and your aging parents, juggling demands at work and trying to squeeze in time for your own projects, you're spread as thin as the gravy that refuses to thicken.
Okay, we'll stop with the food metaphors...
But in all seriousness, you've probably been there before, right?
That's when it's time to hit pause and take a good, long look at your heart. It's easy to get trapped in work mode. You may be doing all the "right things," but you're doing them by your own blood, sweat and tears. Perfectionism and trying to follow legalistic rules is a FAST trip to burnout.
And we as believers seem to live that way pretty often—even though Jesus offers us His grace.
The amazing thing about grace is that it's totally undeserved, so you don't have to check enough things off your list to qualify. It's a free gift from Jesus to you. All you have to do is accept it.
Before you nod and move along, thinking you've heard all this before, it's about more than salvation and making it to Heaven one day. It's about living in everything God has for you right here and now.
A life of burning the candle at both ends just to get everything done isn't God's best for you. Constantly feeling like you never measure up isn't His heart for you either.
Yet if you've been living that way for a while, how do you step out of the vicious cycle and really accept God's grace?
It starts with getting His Word into your heart, where it can change your deepest beliefs.
If you're at the end of your rope, you can declare Hebrews 4:16, saying, "I go to God boldly and receive His mercy and grace when I need help."
If you're bone-tired, you can speak 2 Timothy 2:1: "Today I'm strengthened and empowered in the grace of Jesus."
And if you're in a tough situation that's wearing you thin, claim Psalm 107:8: "Regardless of what's going on around me, I'll give thanks to the Lord for His loving-kindness and the great things He has done."
Especially in the busyness of the Thanksgiving season, it's important to get your heart grounded in God's grace. Because it's His grace that empowers you with EVERYTHING you need.
To help you go back to the basics and lay that foundation, here's this month's Walk in the Word. It's a PDF with a collection of declarations pulled from Scripture, and this one's all about grace.
Click here to download your Walk in the Word PDF. Then print it out and hang it somewhere you'll see it often. Like in your kitchen, where you can stir that gravy until it's the perfect consistency—and speak God's promises at the same time.
His grace is just waiting to pour in and refresh your heart!

If there's one thing that can cause headaches, sleepless nights and arguments with your spouse... it's finances. Even if everything else in your life is going great, when a money crisis happens, it has a way of throwing a raincloud over it all.
Maybe you were passed over for a promotion or lost your job entirely. The bills could be piling up faster than the paycheques. You might be filling out your hundredth job application after months of fruitless job hunting. Or maybe the car quit working all of a sudden, and the added expense is straining your budget.
Whatever it is, you need to know this: God hasn't forgotten you. He knows exactly what you need before you even need it. He has gone ahead of you to make a way. You can trust Him for a creative answer, because He wants to bless you! It's not His desire for you to be broke, stressed or down and out.
Whether the answer comes in an instant through your boss rewarding your hard work with a bonus—or more slowly as you make wise decisions to build your finances with God's help—you need a foundation in His Word
The Word is full of promises that you can begin to claim. You might know some of them already, but knowing is just the first step. Then you need to convince your heart.
One great way to do that is to speak the Word out loud! Grab a verse and make it personal. Take time to meditate on that promise and picture yourself walking it out. Feel the smile on your face as you land an amazing job. Imagine being able to take your family on vacation or having enough to bless a single mom by buying her groceries.
You can go to Philippians 4:19 and say, "God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Not just some of your needs—ALL of them. And He doesn't supply them based on the size of your need or how much you deserve it. His supply is according to HIS riches.
If you've been working your fingers to the bone just to scrape by, you can declare the promise in Proverbs 10:22: "God's blessing brings me true riches, and He adds no sorrow to it." He's able to bless you in ways that don't rob you of family time or damage your health.
In fact, you can start painting a vision of the future where blessings overflow and you pour generously into the lives of people around you! Declare this: "He provides everything I need and more—I have plenty left over to share with others" (2 Corinthians 9:8).
To give you a head-start, here's this month's Walk in the Word. It's a set of God's promises about finances, and they're all phrased so YOU can make them personal.
Click here to download your Walk in the Word PDF, then print it out and start speaking life over your finances! As you meditate on the Word, you'll begin to walk in peace as you trust God to empower and enrich you in every way.
As a believer, abundant life is yours (John 10:10)!
P.S. Declaring the Word should be a lifelong habit, not just a one-and-done kind of thing! If you'd like to get one of these PDFs every month, sign up for our emails. What's robbing your sense of peace today?
If ten people answered that question, we'd probably get ten different answers. A stressful work situation, a difficult parenting phase with one of your children, financial pressure, health issues... you name it! All of us are facing problems that can keep us up at night.
But peace is your right and privilege as a child of God!
Whatever you're facing, whether low-level stress or the deepest valley you've ever experienced, it doesn't have to take your peace or knock you off balance. The peace Jesus gives us is complete!
So why do we still deal with anxiety, worries and crippling fear? How do we handle the fears whispering thoughts like, "You'll never make it out of this," or "What if it never gets better?"
God has given us His Word as a weapon, and it combats every fear. His promises are a strong foundation, and when we plant ourselves in His Word, nothing can shake us.
Of course there can be medical reasons behind anxious thoughts or depression. But Jesus is above any diagnosis or condition (Philippians 2:9), and no matter the situation, healing and stability are yours because of Him!
To get the Word to "work" for us, we need to get it down into our hearts, where it can begin to change our deepest beliefs. We need to meditate on God's principles and promises.
One way to meditate on the Word is to speak it! Find promises that deal with your situation or talk about your identity in Christ, and begin to speak them out loud often.
You can take John 14:27 and say, "I have peace of mind and heart—the kind of peace that comes from Jesus. I have no reason to be afraid."
Or use Habakkuk 3:18: "God is my source of strength and courage. He steadies me and leads me forward with confidence."
The important thing as you declare the Word is to make it your own! And as you speak, put your imagination to work and picture God's peace flooding you from the inside out.
To help you start training your thoughts to focus on God's Word, we've put together this month's Walk in the Word—a collection of personalized declarations based on different verses on peace.
Click here to download your Walk in the Word PDF, then print it out and begin declaring what God says about you! The more you develop a habit of speaking life, the Word will take root in your heart and begin to anchor you in His perfect peace.
Nothing can take away your peace—it's yours because you're a child of God!
P.S. If you'd like to get one of these collections every month, you can sign up for our emails. At the beginning of each month, we'll send you great resources to build your faith, including Walk in the Word. Click here to sign up!
What's the last thing that made you happy? The gut-busting laugh kind of happy?
How about the last thing that brought you heartache?
Chances are, your answers involved people. Relationships can bring the most joy and the most pain into our lives. We're wired for relationships, but often they get messy or broken.
Whether it's a deep misunderstanding with your spouse, a coworker who ruffles your feathers, kids who won't listen or a simple miscommunication with a friend... It's easy to see that life with other people isn't always sunshine and roses.
But God wants more for you. He wants more for your relationships. And His Word is packed with wise principles for how to treat each other.
You may think, "I know, I know—I'm supposed to serve others, be patient and say kind words. But have you seen the way I'm treated?"
It's one thing to know what the Word says. It's another to have it sink into your heart and affect your life. When we speak God's Word out loud and meditate on it, something interesting happens.
Your attitude begins to change. Pretty soon, you start acting and speaking differently—even if the situation hasn't changed. Your coworker might still make barbed remarks, but you don't react the same way. Your spouse might not have changed yet, but the way you approach them is different.
So what does God's Word have to say about our relationships?
You can go to 1 Corinthians 13:7 and say, "I walk in love and look for the best in everyone. As I hang onto hope, my relationships keep growing stronger, even in difficult times."
Or you could take Romans 12:10 and declare, "I live my life in a way that's devoted to others! In everything I do, I honour others by putting them first."
It may feel funny to say these things when you're still boiling mad at someone else. Yet as you speak the Word and picture it taking place in your life, Holy Spirit goes to work on your heart.
He helps you pursue peace in your relationships, live in harmony and keep a good attitude even when you're not treated right. He empowers you to forgive, set healthy boundaries, show patience and walk in love.
God wouldn't give you principles that are impossible to follow. If it's in the Word, you can do it with His help! It is possible.
To help you start speaking God's Word over your life, we want to share something called Walk in the Word. It's a downloadable PDF with personal declarations based on different verses, and this one is all about relationships! Click here to download.
Then use it as a reminder to declare God's Word every day. As you take steps to change, Holy Spirit wants to work through you to bring healing and restoration to all your relationships!

Picture this. Your garage hasn't been cleaned in years. It's packed end to end with rakes, shovels, tools, paint cans, a lawnmower and everything except the car you're supposed to park there.
You've decided today's the day—you're finally going to do something about it. But cleaning up is such a big, overwhelming job you don't even know where to start.
What if you had a helper?
Someone who would jump into the mess with you, help you haul out the junk and organize all the tools?
Suddenly the job wouldn't look so hard. In fact, you might even have fun doing it.
When life comes along with its overwhelming tasks or unexpected circumstances, you really do have a helper. It's Holy Spirit.
As a believer, Holy Spirit is God's presence living within you. He's your advantage in every situation!
When you don't know what to do, He's teaching you everything you need to know and leading you into all truth (John 14:26 and 16:13).
He empowers you to walk in all God's promises and experience blessings of joy, wisdom and peace.
As you grow in your relationship with Him and listen to His leading, He'll even guide you to reach out to someone else who needs an encouraging word. Or He could prompt you to take a different route to work and avoid an accident you weren't aware of.
What's in front of you may look too big to conquer alone. It may be a lot more than a messy garage—a fractured marriage, a sudden diagnosis or a huge obstacle between you and a dream...
...But Holy Spirit's presence within you means you're never alone! And His power is there, ready for you to tap into.
One great way to get to know Holy Spirit better is by speaking God's Word out loud over your life.
When you find verses about who Holy Spirit is and meditate on how He wants to work with you in your daily life... you'll begin to follow that picture in your mind.
You'll see yourself walking in love and wisdom to start healing that relationship. You'll imagine yourself rising up with supernatural health and strength. With Holy Spirit, you can conquer anything that comes your way!
So where do you start? To help you find verses on Holy Spirit and begin claiming those promises, we want to share something called Walk in the Word. It's a monthly collection of personalized declarations based on different verses.
Click here to download the PDF. Then you can print it out, hang it on the fridge or stick it in your Bible... someplace you'll see it often and be reminded to continually speak the Word!
As you do, ask Holy Spirit to help you meditate on it. He wants to help you plant the Word deep in your heart, where it'll start to put out fruit (or results) in your life.
Every day, you can declare Romans 15:13 and say, "As I trust God, He fills me with joy and peace. I overflow with confident hope through the power of Holy Spirit!"

When you think of prayer... what comes to mind?
Do you picture yourself blurting out all the things you need, giving several reasons why you think you deserve them and reminding God what you've asked for over and over in case He didn't hear you the first time?
Or do you think of waking up at the crack of dawn to recite a bunch of thees and thous while trying to make yourself sound "worthy enough" for God to listen to you?
Praying those kinds of prayers day after day, night after night... well, it starts to feel robotic and maybe even exhausting.
It's no wonder! Think about one of your friendships for a minute. If all you did was phone up your friend, rattle off a list of things you wanted them to do and then hang up, how would that relationship go? It would probably get stale pretty fast.
A real relationship needs back and forth conversation. There's some talking and listening going on. Prayer is a dialogue too, and you're free to be 100% real with God. So... if you wouldn't use thees and thous when talking to a close friend, you don't need them when talking to God either! He made you the way you are and He wants the real you.
And here's the other thing—when it comes to the needs in our lives, prayer isn't about convincing God to give us something. He already gave us the answer, and that answer is YES to all He's promised us! (See 2 Corinthians 1:20.) Because of Jesus, every promise is already yours.
So who needs convincing? Your heart does.
Our hearts are pretty incredible things, and they're listening to the words we speak. When we say something over and over, it's like a song that gets stuck in our heads—except it's actually a belief that forms in our hearts.
Where do we begin? The first step is to know what's in the Word. To help you get started, we want to share something called Walk in the Word. It's a monthly collection of personalized declarations based on different verses. You can download it, print it out, hang it on the wall or stick it in your Bible.
This month's Walk in the Word is all about—you guessed it—prayer! Click here to download.
Speaking these declarations out loud can become part of your prayer time—your conversation with God. As you begin to pray this way and plant the Word in your heart, confident faith rises up on the inside.
Whenever a challenge arises, your mind will go back to the promises. You'll be able to say, "Whatever I ask for in prayer, I believe I've received it—and it is mine. Jesus has qualified me for all of God's promises" (Mark 11:24)!

Do you know what belongs to you?
It's the season of Easter right now, but let's take a minute and rewind to last Christmas. Chances are, you received a present. Is that gift still sitting unopened somewhere in your house? Is it in the corner, all wrapped up and gathering dust?
Hopefully not! When someone hands you a gift, of course, you want to tear it open and see what's inside. You'd want to thank the giver and go on to use that gift—whether it's a pair of socks or a fancy new blender.
What about presents that have multiple items inside? You pull out those Christmas socks, but underneath is the new blender and a chocolate bar and a sweater... and maybe even a card with a kind note inside. It's a gift that keeps on giving! But if all you did was take the socks and leave the rest inside the box... you'd be missing out on some great things.
A lot of us approach salvation like that. We can all agree that Jesus gives us the gift of eternity in Heaven. But sometimes we miss everything else salvation includes.
When you gave your life to Jesus, you became part of His family. As a member of the family, you're entitled to all the benefits of being God's child! You get supernatural health, perfect peace, wisdom for every area and all the blessings of God. In fact, Jesus said in John 10:10 that He came to give us abundant life!
So if all you're enjoying is the new pair of socks... hang on! It's time to dive into God's Word and discover everything that Jesus died to give you.
As you plant the Word in your heart, your imagination goes to work. You start to picture yourself joyful, healthy, forgiven and blessed in everything you do. You begin to expect the miraculous to take place.
When storms rise up, you can hold your head high. You can go to verses like 2 Corinthians 1:20 and say, "The answer to every promise is 'yes and amen!' because of what Jesus did for me. I receive healing, peace, provision and joy in Jesus' name."
If you're struggling with thoughts that condemn you for your mistakes, you can go to 1 John 4:10 and declare, "Jesus loves me so much that He died on the cross to remove all my sins. There is no more punishment for because Jesus paid the price!"
To help you declare who you are in Christ, this month's Walk in the Word collection has eight beautiful verses on salvation. Each one is personalized so that you can declare it out loud and start establishing your heart in grace!

As we grow in faith, we believe this is going to be your Year of Miracles!
Do you have enough faith?
Let's say you go on a road trip across the country. You drive for half a day, but all of a sudden, your car sputters to a stop on the side of the highway. So you get out, pop open the hood and go to work on the engine. You tinker away until you think you've fixed the problem... but when you turn the key in the ignition, nothing happens! That's when you notice—the gas light is on.
It wasn't an engine problem. You just ran out of fuel.Sometimes we look at faith like that. We think we need MORE faith in order to get our miracle. But your car doesn't need more engine, does it? It already has a great engine built by the manufacturer! In Romans 12:3 (NKJV), it says that God has already given you a measure of faith.Instead of focusing on how MUCH we believe, we need to get to the root of WHAT we believe. So... where do you start? And better yet, how do you change those beliefs? When we consistently meditate on and speak God's Word, it has an amazing ability to fuel our faith. The Word goes to work on your deep-seated beliefs about life, marriage, health, finances—you name it—and starts to align your heart with the truth.
For example, let's say you're facing a tough decision and you're not sure what to do. Instead of placing your faith only in your abilities to problem-solve, you could go to Proverbs 3:5-6 and say this: "In every circumstance, I will trust the Lord with all of my heart. I won't depend on my own understanding. I know that God is directing my paths as I acknowledge Him in everything I do."
Or maybe you're taking a flight, but you're afraid the plane will go down. Instead of going over every possible scenario and picturing a disastrous crash, you can declare Psalm 32:7 out loud. "God protects me from trouble. He surrounds me with songs of victory."
Both of these declarations are in this month's Walk in the Word collection.
As you speak faith-filled words and envision God's promises coming to pass in your life, it's like pouring fuel into the engine of your heart. You're putting your faith to work in a positive way!
Declaring the Word is a habit we need to build. Even if you're not facing a storm right now, this is the time to strengthen your faith! Go into God's Word, find out what He says about a certain area and then get that truth into your heart.
We'll be the first to admit that it can be hard to know where to start. So to help you develop this habit, we want to share something with you called Walk in the Word. It's a collection of personal declarations based on Scripture, and this month's collection will help you start using the measure of faith you've already been given. Click here to download yours.
Print it out, hang it on your fridge or put it beside your bed and speak God's amazing promises out loud every day. Each time you speak, God's Word will start a fire in your heart and fuel your faith.

Is there anyone you'd like to trade places with?
If you answered, 'yes', we're guessing there's some things in your life you're not too thrilled about. You don't have enough money, stuck in a boring low-pay job, your family is completely crazy, your life has no direction...
Sound like the record that's playing in your head?
Today, we want to encourage you to start expecting something different. Maybe you've heard this before, maybe you haven't. But God isn't the one who withholds blessings or miracles from us. We have a lot more to do with it than we think!
What do you believe deep down at your core? It's those beliefs that are steering the direction—and setting the boundaries—of your life (Proverbs 4:23). Everything we believe has consequences—good or bad!
God has already said in His Word that you are healed, that you have His favour, and that ALL of His promises (in Him) are "yes and amen". But if you don't believe Him, that unbelief is what blocks those promises from bearing fruit in your life. When you get your heart to speak the same language as God's Word, that's when transformation happens!
Yes, we believe that 2020 is YOUR Year of Miracles. It doesn't matter what's standing in your way—we know that ANYTHING is possible with God.
So, what miracle do you need in your life right now? Are you struggling with finances? Your health? A broken relationship? Or a series bad breaks? Tell God what you're believing for. Start changing the narrative of your heart by speaking God's Word. Jesus has qualified you for every promise!
Start declaring what GOD says out loud:
"I belong to Christ, I've become a new person. My old life is gone, and my new life has begun!" (2 Corinthians 5:17, NLT)
"I will not be weighed down by condemnation because I belong to Jesus. When God looks at me, He sees me as righteous." (Romans 8:1, NLT)
"I hold onto my hope without wavering, because I know God is faithful to fulfill all of His promises". (Hebrews 10:23, ESV)
All of these declarations plus four more are in this Walk in the Word collection—it'll help you make a shift in what you believe in your heart so you can see miracles in your life. Click here to download your copy!
Put this print-out somewhere you'll see it often. Post it on your mirror so when you're getting ready, you can start your day speaking God's Word. Or keep it on your bedside table and remind yourself about what God says before you fall asleep each night. The key to seeing the miraculous power of God in your life is by aligning the beliefs of your heart with His Word.

This year, let's commit to building our faith and expecting the miraculous!
Are you sitting in the corner crying while everyone else is relishing in the new year?
Maybe things in 2019 didn't play out like you thought they would. Maybe you're frustrated because you read things in the Word like "Great are the plans I have for you declares the Lord" and "blessing and mercy will chase you down...", but your life looks like anything BUT those promises.
Leon Fontaine says it like this, "We can't give up what we DO know for what we DON'T know".
So what does that mean? Well, what it means is that we'll never know why certain things happen in our life. We'll never know why bad things happen to us or to the people we love. But what we DO know is that God's Word is true, and that God will deliver on His promises to us.
So what do we do when our life doesn't match up with what God declares for us? We have to get to the root, and change what we believe!
We're so passionate about this that we decided to declare 2020 YOUR Year of Miracles! We believe that no matter what disappointments and hardships came your way last year, this will be the year that you write a new story!
But it's going to take some action on your part... What many people don't realize is that God isn't the one that's actually withholding our miracle. It's our beliefs that hold us back! (Proverbs 23:4)
So how do we change the beliefs of our hearts? We renew our minds in the Word! One of the most powerful ways we know how to do that is to meditate and speak God's promises out loud!
For example, you could read Romans 8:23 and start speaking this out loud, "I might not see it yet, but I am confident that God is causing everything to work together for my good, because I am called according to His plan and purpose".
Instead of focusing on all the things you do wrong believing that they count you out of God's blessing, declare Romans 4:16-17 and say, "I receive all of God's promises through faith He is the God who brings the dead back to life and creates new things out of nothing—He is creating something new in my life right now!"
Speaking God's Word isn't about saying repetitions or casting a spell. That's not it at all! It's about getting your heart and God's Word to start speaking the same language. You are His child. He doesn't want you to be stuck in the same problem for years. Jesus came so that you could have life and have it more abundantly! (John 10:10).
As you start the new year, choose to write a different story. Let go of the past, put your faith in Jesus and believe for an even greater future! Because of Jesus you're ALREADY healed, full of joy, prosperous and everything else God says you are! Will you receive it.
We want to help you begin the process of getting God's Word from your head to your heart. Download this PDF we created with 8 different declarations to start speaking over your life.
Print this page out and put it somewhere you'll see it often. As you meditate on what God has promised you, amazing things will begin to take root in your heart and bring transformation in every area of your life!
What are you believing for? It doesn't matter if it's so big that it sounds crazy out loud. Luke 18:27 says, "What is impossible for man is possible with God". Whatever it is, give it to God and trust that He will come through on His promises!

Growth doesn't happen by accident. It's an intentional choice.
You can have big dreams and goals, but if you don't take practical steps toward them every day, how will they come to pass? James 2:20 (ESV) says that faith without works is useless.
At some point, dreaming has to translate into doing.
You have a choice about how you spend your time, how you handle money, which relationships you nurture and how you take care of your body. God wants to see you thrive in every area of life. And He's given you His Spirit to empower you. With Him, you can make great choices that build a positive future!
So much of it has to do with the power of habits—the little things you do every day.
If you've been wanting to get healthier, it can be daunting to create a big workout regimen. So why not start with a ten or fifteen-minute walk every day?
Maybe you want to grow closer to your spouse. You could choose to look for one little way to bless him or her each day. Whether it's making their coffee, giving a sincere compliment, or taking care of a task you know they don't enjoy.
Or maybe there's a skill you want to develop, but you haven't found the time. Decide to turn off all your screens in the evenings and use that time to learn and practice that new skill.
The habits we create might be little things, but they're game-changers!
Our theme for December is "live with intention." And Romans 12:1-2 (ESV) tells us where it all starts:
"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Habits start with your mind! We all have thought patterns that are keeping us stuck in one area or another. But when we go to God's Word and ask Holy Spirit to help us meditate on it, we begin to renew our minds—replacing old beliefs with new ones.
This month, commit to doing one thing every day that you don't normally do. And while you're at it, you can water that new habit with God's Word.
We've got something to help you! December's Walk in the Word verse collection is full of personal declarations about living with intention. Each one is based on a verse from God's Word.
One of this month's declarations comes from Ephesians 2:10 (NLT):
"For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago."
Dream big, keep God's Word in front of you and commit to building positive habits day by day. And remember: you're not going at it alone! Holy Spirit is at work in you, helping you to renew your mind and create an amazing life.
What does your future hold?
Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God has good in store for you—plans to give you a hopeful future. He has big plans for your life!
"Dream big" is a phrase you see all over the place. Song lyrics, movies, t-shirts... it's everywhere. But "big" doesn't necessarily have to do with fame. God's kind of big dreams are all about significance. He has an amazing way of blessing you and using you to bless others at the same time.
What dreams has He placed on your heart? Maybe you desire to be a better spouse or parent. Maybe you love to create things with your hands. Maybe you dream of running a successful business that makes enough money to give to others.
You don't have to wait to start living with significance. You can start right now. Don't worry about waiting until your life is all put together—or until you have the next five years mapped out—before you start making a difference in the world around you.
If you're feeling discouraged, remember that God wants to see His dreams for your life come to pass even more than YOU want them to!
It's a growing process, so don't worry if it takes a while to see results. After all, when you plant a seed, the first stage of growth takes place underground. It's out of sight. But it doesn't mean nothing's happening. Little by little, those dreams are growing.
What's one step you can take right now to live a life of significance? Who can you bless?
Take stock of the dreams God has given you and the promises in His Word. Write them down. Then speak them out loud every day as if they've already happened. You might say, "I'm an exceptional wife and mother. My body is in perfect health. God's peace radiates from me and touches those around me."
To help you create this daily habit, we've created a monthly collection of verses called Walk in the Word! This month, the verses are all about significance. You can declare these Scriptures over your life every day and start convincing YOUR heart of what God's Word says!
One of the declarations this month is based on Psalm 62:7 (VOICE):
"My salvation and my significance depend ultimately on God; the core of my strength, my shelter, is in the True God."
As you plant good beliefs, you'll start moving toward what you're focusing on. Ask God to guide you and help you take it one step at a time. He wants to do something significant in your life! Dream bigger with Him!

We hear a lot about gratitude at this time of year. At Thanksgiving gatherings, you might go around the circle and have everyone in the family say something they're thankful for.
It's a great tradition, but gratitude goes so much deeper than that! It needs to become daily habit.
What are some ways you can practice being thankful every day?
Start by bookending your day with praise. When you get up in the morning, say out loud three things you're thankful for. Then say another three things before you go to bed. Science is catching up to God's Word and finding out that gratitude is great for your brain, your sleep, and your health.
Another way to practice thankfulness is to keep a gratitude journal. The great thing about writing down what you're thankful for is that you can go back and read it on days you're feeling low. You'll build your faith by remembering what God has done for you in the past.
You can also express thankfulness to the people in your life. Write a letter, send a quick text, or go tell them in person what they mean to you!
But one of the best ways to stay in an attitude of thankfulness is to confess God's Word. Find verses about God's goodness and speak them out loud. Have you ever noticed that when you're talking, your focus zooms in? It's hard to think about anything else but what you're saying. Declaring God's promises out loud puts your attention back on His Word and helps you meditate on it.
To help you walk in gratitude every day, we made a special Walk in the Word verse collection for this month—and it's all about thankfulness. You can download it, print it out, and put it somewhere you'll always see it to remind you to speak words of gratitude. Your attitude will start to lift as you focus on who God is!
Sometimes being thankful might feel like a sacrifice—like nothing's going right and you don't have anything to be thankful for. But we challenge you: look for something. Even if it's small, thank God for it. The more little things you find to be thankful for, the more of them you'll start to notice.
The more little things you find to be thankful for, the more of them you'll start to notice.
One of this month's declarations comes from Psalm 100:4 (NLT): "Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name."
Click here to download your Walk in the Word collection and develop a habit of being thankful every day!
Do you ever find yourself grabbing those chocolate chip cookies off the shelf when you're supposed to be on a diet?
Or backing out of a commitment when something makes it hard to fulfill?
Or maybe you made a personal goal to clean out your basement this year, and you still haven't made time to do it.
Those things might not seem like a big deal, but integrity is about keeping your word in the little things... keeping your word when no one is watching... and keeping your word even when it's hard.
God's character is all about excellence. He always keeps His promises, and He gives you the power to do the same!
John Maxwell said, "We cannot consistently behave in a way that is inconsistent with our beliefs."
That's why walking with integrity is something that has to start inside you! Behaviour modification and willpower will only get you so far. If your heart doesn't change first, you'll find yourself going back to old behaviour when the pressure hits.
To change our heart beliefs, we need to go straight to God's Word to see what HIS beliefs are. Meditate on what they would look like in your life. Find promises about your situation or verses that deal with whatever you might be struggling with.
For example, if you're having a hard time being patient when your kids throw a temper tantrum, your spouse forgets to run an errand, or traffic is slow—find some verses about patience.
Try putting the word "I" in the verse to make it personal. Instead of saying, "Love is patient, love is kind," say this: "I am patient and kind! I'm not jealous, boastful, proud, or rude. I'm not irritable, and I keep no record of being wronged" (1 Corinthians 13:4-5, paraphrased).
There's something powerful about making God's Word up close and personal! In fact, we have something called Walk in the Word to get you started. It's a collection of verses—already personalized for you—to speak over your life. We make a new collection every month! For September, it's all about walking in integrity.
One of this month's declarations comes from Proverbs 4:25-27 (NLT):
"I look straight ahead, fixing my eyes on what lies before me. I mark out a straight path for my feet. I don't get sidetracked, and I keep my feet from following evil."
Download your September Walk in the Word collection here! Then put it somewhere you'll see it often, and get into the habit of speaking the truth of God's Word.
If you slip up, don't get discouraged. Integrity is something that takes time to build. And God is on your side, giving you the ability to get back up again. Keep declaring the Word and letting Holy Spirit work with you to transform your heart beliefs!
Have you ever been overwhelmed by a problem? When you're facing something that seems too big to handle, worry can consume your thoughts, turn your stomach into a knot, and keep you up at night.
It can be hard during those times to believe for a miracle.
Our theme for the month of August is faith, so we're going to be focused on ways we can grow our faith and believe God for the miraculous! Nothing is too big for God—not the bills piling up, or the family member who's turned away from Him, or the diagnosis from the doctor.
One of the best ways to grow your faith is to focus on God's Word. What we focus on, we make bigger. So when you focus on the problem, it's like the camera of your mind is zoomed in on it, making it seem huge and impossible to overcome.
Now, we're not saying to ignore all your problems. There are times you need to address issues and figure out solutions. But you can be aware of something you need to solve, while at the same time keeping your focus on God's presence in your life!
Psalm 34:3 (NKJV) says, "Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together."
What does a magnifying glass do? It makes things bigger. Now, of course you can't make God bigger than He already is—He's infinite! But you can make your awareness of Him larger. You can train your mind to turn to His Word every time worry starts to creep in.
Look for verses that build up your faith, then start speaking them over your life. For example, you might find 2 Corinthians 1:20 and say, "I believe that I've already received everything I've asked God for in prayer. All His promises are mine!"
Or you could go to Ephesians 3:20 and say, "God's mighty power is at work within me, doing more than I could ask or think!"
Whatever you're believing for—health, restored relationships, finances, wisdom, more patience, anything—go digging in the Word to see what God says about it! As you magnify God and thank Him for the promises that Jesus has given you, the smaller your problems will appear. Your focus will change.
To help you do this every day, we've created something called Walk in the Word! It's a collection of verses all about the monthly theme—in this case, they're all about faith.
You can download Walk in the Word, print it out, and hang it up somewhere in your house where you'll see it often... maybe on the fridge or wherever you get ready in the mornings. Then start speaking those verses out loud! Choose to build up your faith, and you'll find that you have more peace and joy—even in the face of problems.
