NO MORE CURSE

December 4, 2022

Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. Galatians 3:13 (NLT)

The topic of healing and miracles is very often misunderstood. Many books have been written to try to explain why some people don’t get healed and many even claim that God’s healing is not for today.

We can’t allow ourselves to get caught up in all the controversy that surrounds this topic. We just need to get back to the simplicity of the Gospel.

Jesus said that signs and wonders would follow those who believe, and that fact hasn’t changed. The issue is not whether or not God does miracles—the issue is whether you’re going to see the miraculous in your life!

To see the miraculous, you need to believe that Jesus took the entire curse that came onto mankind as a result of Adam and Eve’s disobedience (Genesis 3:16–19). This is the last of seven principles we’ve been discussing in regard to healing and miracles, and I encourage you to meditate on this throughout your day.

The curse of sickness and mental illness has no right to be in your life. Jesus suffered so you could be healed (Isaiah 53:5, NLT). And since poverty is part of the curse, you can be sure that it has no right to take hold of you because Jesus took that curse!

There’s no part of the curse you need to accept. Jesus took it all! Speak to the mountains—those things you want gone from your life. Jesus gave you the power to send them running, and as you grow to believe this more deeply in your heart, they will!
