Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17 (NKJV)

As you get revelations about who you are in Christ, you know the truth and the truth sets you free.

If you were locked up in jail and Jesus opened the door to your cell, you’d be free, right? But then what? Do you think He’d want you to just sit in the cell and think about your freedom? No, He’d want you to walk out and start living your life! He’d want you to use the gifts inside you and enjoy the abundant life He made available to you!

Well, Jesus has set you free, and it’s up to you to step out of that cell and start living your freedom.

Every time you get a revelation about who you are in Christ, you’re set free in an area of life. For example, 1 John 4:17 can completely change your self-image. It says that as Jesus is, so are we in this world. Jesus is not the poodle of Judah; He’s the lion of Judah (Revelation 5:5)! He walks in strength and blessing, and so can you!

At the same time, Jesus was never arrogant or overbearing. People were attracted to Jesus because of how He made them feel, and you have the same power within you. I have a vision of a world filled with Spirit Contemporary Christians who are loving, caring and kind. Yet you won’t mistake their kindness for weakness because they’ll understand the authority they have in Christ!

It’s time to get a revelation about who you are. Get to know Jesus as He truly is… and then start living out your freedom!
