When I was first handed Miracle Channel, I couldn't see myself running a television station. The ministry was months away from bankruptcy—but the first problem to solve wasn't staffing or budgets. For me, it was establishing a new vision in my heart of being a CEO who could bring positive change.
This is what I spent time meditating on day after day. I would take verses like Philippians 4:13 and say, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. That means I can lead this television station. God, You have empowered me to find the right staff, deal with finances, lead with confidence and change the organization's culture."
My meditation wasn't purely doctrinal. It was about the Word's effect on me personally. Wherever you are today, it's crucial for you to personalize the Word and let it transform how you see yourself. The old you is gone, and now you have Jesus' nature inside you. What does that change about your situation?
As you meditate on the Word, you can say, "Holy Spirit, You know what's ahead. Work with me, guide me and prepare me for the next season." He wants to help you enter the next level in a state of rest and joy instead of being wound up with stress and self-doubt.
Once your heart locks onto the truth, the change that Holy Spirit creates in you cannot be stopped—and you will blast forward into all He has planned for your future!
