My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6 (NKJV)
It takes a stubborn faith to decide that you will not be held back from doing great exploits just because you don’t know how.
But not everybody thinks this way. For example, some people’s finances are a disaster because they lack budgeting knowledge and have not pursued learning how to handle money.
But if God says a lack of knowledge destroys His people, that means the opposite is also true: we thrive when we have it.
If any area of your life isn’t working, apply this principle and watch things change! Simply recognize, “There’s more I need to learn to help these areas along. If there’s something I don’t know about how to best handle a financial situation or a health-related issue, I’m going to find out. I’ll get educated on it. I’ll spend time with people who will teach me or get into groups where they can help me to improve and succeed.”
Knowledge is power when it comes to God’s promises for our lives, too. Satan doesn’t want us to go to new levels. That’s why we need to carry a sense of determination that says, “I will not be destroyed for lack of knowledge. I don’t know everything, but I will continually dig into God’s Word and find out what He has promised me. I will discover what is mine through Christ. I will learn how to use my authority in Him fulfill the destiny God has planned for my life!”
When stubborn faith straps its work boots on, it’s unstoppable. So if you’re struggling in any area of your life, don’t let a lack of knowledge take you out. Take the time to learn, grow and push on for God!
